Dance rehearsal for the Yi Peng Festival and the preservation of Lanna arts and culture

“Tarm Phang Pathit Song Fah Haksa Mueang” – 14th Year

Today, members of our community — together with the Chiang Mai Urban Conservation Network and the Lanna Dance Wisdom Learning Center, Ban Kru Aejidapha — gathered to rehearse the traditional Lanna dance in preparation for the upcoming Tarm Phang Pathit Song Fah Haksa Mueang cultural festival on 3 Nov 2025

Each graceful movement of the dance reflects our deep respect, love, and loyalty,

as we humbly remember the boundless royal grace

of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

This performance is a heartfelt tribute of remembrance and gratitude

for Her Majesty’s immeasurable kindness and lifelong devotion to the Thai people.

In addition, participants joined in crafting remembrance ribbons

to be used in the upcoming festival as an expression of love and reverence.

We warmly invite everyone to join us in preserving the beauty of Lanna traditions and sharing the spirit of loyalty and gratitude

at the upcoming “Tarm Phang Pathit: Song Fah Haksa Mueang” Festival.
