The Visit Lanna Association for the Moss Industry for Tourism, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Office of Promotion and Festival Organizing, a government agency, jointly founded the association. The association's representatives have donated a fund of 100,000 Baht to the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. The donation was made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sukree Kaesornsamut, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manapa Manasam, Associate Dean for Student Development and Alumni Relations, and Asst. Prof. Udom Chimpakdee, Assistant Dean for Cultural Affairs at Chiang Mai University. This donation comes from the Chiang Mai Blooms 2023 event, which took place on February 25, 2023. It was part of the Blooms Beat 2023 event organized jointly with the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Chiang Mai University. The purpose of this donation is to contribute to the funding of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Chiang Mai University and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Witjitra Fields of Fine Arts in the academic year 2566. The funds will be given to the alumni of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Mae Kha Luang Student Club, and the String Combo and Watthanaiphayaphap orchestras, who collaborated in organizing and supporting creative activities that added color and highlights to the Chiang Mai Blooms 2023 event.
Additionally, funds were raised through an art auction during the 'Flowers on the Table' event on February 26, 2023, which amounted to 81,000 Baht. Assoc. Prof. Udom Chimpakdee, Assistant Dean for Cultural Affairs, received the proceeds from the art auction on February 8, 2023, at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University.
